Blood Hawk

Description: Flying bat-like creature, an evolution of the original Winged Fiends from Diablo I. They utilize a tail attack, flying up and tucking its long tail underneath to sting you, reminiscent of a bee. Their greatest strength is their numbers; if you can isolate one or two, you will find they are very fragile and will make for easy experience points.
Tips and Behavior: Look for Blood Hawk Nests and destroy them to prevent additional Blood Hawks from being created.
In Nightmare and Hell, Blood Hawk types have a chance to deal Poison damage.
