Description: The Zakarum Cultists are a band of religious fanatics residing in the jungles of Kurast in Act III. Once belonging to the order of Zakarum, a religion of the Light, they were bound to protect and guard Mephisto's soulstone. The growing presence of Mephisto's trapped soul in the area has mysteriously corrupted these cultists and turned them to the forces of darkness. They reside in one of the many ruins and camps hidden within the Kurast jungle. The Cultists have their hair arranged in traditional braids, and are sometimes dressed in tattered ceremonial robes. Others wear a bit of steel armor. They are divided into two classes, the warrior Zealots, and the spell-casting Priests.
